Project Description
This home was subject to a large crack in its foundation, which was later discovered to be a significant separation of a large piece of concrete. Our assessment uncovered the following issues:
- Breach of foundation
- Moisture intrusion
- Inadequate foundation barrier
- Minor damage to exterior trim
Our solution to this problem included:
- Excavation of fill surrounding the affected area
- Sealing the crack to prevent further environmental intrusion
- Concrete resurfacing
- Installation of protective barrier around the foundation
- Back-filling the foundation
- Worksite clean up
